Terms and ConditionsThese terms form your agreement with Know It All Co., LLC ("we," "us," or the "Company") when you register for a retreat or getaway (an "Event"). 1. Registration and What Your Price Includes
1.1 Who May Register. You must be at least 21 years old to register and attend. Guests must sign our Liability Waiver and Release, Health and Emergency Contact Form, and Photo and Media Release before the Event. We may cancel your registration, with a refund of what you paid, if you do not complete these forms.
1.2 Your Booking. Your booking is confirmed when we receive your deposit or full payment and send you a written confirmation. Each Event page or confirmation lists the dates and event.
1.3 What Is Included. Unless the Event page says otherwise, your price includes: your lodging for the nights listed, the scheduled activities and materials for them (such as pilates sessions, crafting supplies, and book club discussions), meals and snacks, and wine for guests 21 or older at no added charge.
1.4 What Is Not Included. Your price does not include transportation to and from the Event, travel insurance, personal purchases, optional outside activities, tips, or anything the Event page does not list.
1.5 Lodging. We book and rent the lodging for you. Room assignments, bedding, and amenities depend on the property. We may substitute a comparable property if needed.
2. Payment
2.1 Payment Options. You may pay in one of two ways:
Pay in full at registration
Pay deposit at registration with remaining balance due 45 days before Event start date
Deposit - 25%
2.2 Late Balance. If we do not receive your balance by the due date, we will send you a reminder. If we still do not receive it within 5 days, we may treat your booking as cancelled by you under Section 3 and release your space.
2.3 Payment Methods. We accept all payment methods approved by Squarespace. You confirm you are authorized to use the payment method you provide. Card processing fees, if any, and taxes are added at checkout.
2.4 Prices. Prices are in U.S. dollars. We may change the price of future Events, but we will not change the price of a booking after we confirm it, except for taxes the law requires us to collect.
3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Changes
3.1 Cancelling Your Booking. To cancel, email us at dani@knowitallco.com. Your cancellation date is the date we receive your email.
3.2 Refund Schedule. We calculate your refund from the Event start date and the total you have paid:
If cancellation is more than 30 days before the Event start date:
Refund is 75% of the amount you paid
If cancellation is 30 days or fewer before the Event start date:
Refund is 50% of the amount you paid
If you do not arrive, or you leave the Event early, no refund is due.
3.3 How We Pay Refunds. We refund to your original payment method within 14 business days of your cancellation. We will not deduct payment processing fees we cannot recover.
3.4 Substitutions. You may transfer your spot to another adult at no charge if you tell us at least 7 days before the Event and the new guest completes all required forms.
3.5 If We Cancel or Change the Event. If we cancel an Event for any reason, we will refund 100% of what you paid, or, if you prefer, apply it as a credit toward a future Event. If we must change the location, dates, schedule, instructors, or activities, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer a comparable alternative. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel for a full refund.
3.6 Events Beyond Our Control. We are not responsible for failing to provide an Event, or part of one, because of events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, wildfire, road closures, natural disaster, government orders, public health emergencies, a property becoming unavailable, or a vendor's sudden cancellation. In that case, we will offer you a full refund of what you paid for the cancelled part, or a credit, and we will have no further liability.
3.7 Travel Insurance. We recommend that you buy travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and medical care. We do not sell or provide travel insurance.
4. Your Responsibilities at the Event
4.1 Conduct. We want every guest to feel welcome and safe. You agree to treat guests, staff, vendors, and neighbors with respect, to follow our instructions and the property's rules (including quiet hours, smoking, pet, and fire rules), and to avoid harassment, violence, illegal activity, or behavior that endangers anyone. There is a zero tolerance policy for bullying or discrimination. We may remove a guest who breaks these rules, with no refund.
4.2 Alcohol. Wine is offered at no added charge for guests who are 21 or older and who choose to drink. We may decline to serve anyone. You are responsible for your own choices and conduct, you will not drive after drinking, and you will not share alcohol with anyone under 21. We do not provide alcohol to guests under 21 or to anyone who appears intoxicated.
4.3 Property Care. Our lodging is rented from third parties. You are responsible for damage you or your guests cause, beyond normal wear and tear, and you agree to pay for the repair or replacement cost the property owner charges us.
4.4 Transportation. You arrange and pay for your own travel to and from the Event and between locations unless we tell you otherwise in writing. Please plan for mountain driving, weather, and altitude if the Event is in a mountain area.
4.5 Health, Safety, and Accessibility. Please tell us in advance about allergies, dietary needs, mobility needs, and health conditions that could affect your safety, using the Health and Emergency Contact Form. Participation in physical activities is optional, and you should only do what is comfortable for you. We will try, but cannot promise, to accommodate every request, since some properties and trails have limits.
4.6 Valuables and Belongings. Please keep your valuables with you. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.
4.7 Other Vendors. Some services, such as instruction, catering, or crafts, are provided by independent vendors. Those vendors may ask you to follow their own safety instructions.
5. Privacy, Liability, and General Terms
5.1 Your Information. We collect your name, contact details, payment information, health and emergency information, and preferences to run the Event. We use health and emergency information only to keep you safe and will share it only with emergency responders, medical providers, and staff or vendors who need it for your safety. We do not sell your personal information. Payment details are handled by our payment processor.
5.2 Photos and Video. Our Photo and Media Release explains how we may use photos and video of you. Please read and sign it separately.
5.3 Waiver. Your attendance requires you to sign our Liability Waiver and Release. If these Terms conflict with the Waiver on liability, the Waiver controls.
5.4 Limit on Our Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to an Event is limited to the amount you paid us for that Event. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost wages or travel costs you paid to others. Nothing in these Terms limits any right the law does not allow us to limit.
5.5 Governing Law and Disputes. Colorado law governs these Terms. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at dani@knowitallco.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it, either of us may bring the claim in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, Colorado.
5.6 Changes to These Terms. We may update these Terms for future bookings. The version you accepted when you registered applies to your booking.
5.7 Severability and Entire Agreement. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, the Waiver, the Media Release, the Health and Emergency Contact Form, and your confirmation email are our whole agreement.
